Paula Reynolds BA, RPC

My name is Paula Reynolds. I am a Registered Professional Counsellor with a BA in Psychology and postgraduate classes in Counselling Psychology. I have been supporting clients in various capacities in mental health since 2008.

My counselling approach is Integrative. I draw upon my extensive life experience because I have worked through many (often difficult) transitions, both personally and professionally. I use techniques from different therapeutic approaches in order to tailor sessions to each client’s individual needs.

Some of the techniques I use include: Coaching, CBT, Compassion Focused, Emotionally Focused, Humanistic, Person-Centered, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused, Strength-Based, and Trauma Focused. The most important part of my approach is that I work with clients at the pace that is comfortable for them.

I work collaboratively with clients because each person is their own expert and should be respected as such. I help clients identify and access the strengths they already possess that will enable them to cope well with life’s challenges.

Appointment space is available for clients. Whether they need to process feelings, contemplate the situations, or brainstorm a path forward, I’m ready and available for their journey as needed. I am strong in thinking outside the box and I can easily see situations from others’ perspectives. This is a safe place to consider all possibilities and solutions.

My philosophy is that each client needs encouragement and support to discover and nurture their best self.
